Pawprints Tuition was born out of Dilan and Tia's shared desire to provide a tutoring service that goes beyond traditional teaching methods. After gaining valuable experience with a tutoring agency, they envisioned a platform that prioritises tailored learning, particularly for students with disabilities, SEN students, and those educated from home. They also recognised the importance of flexibility for adult learners, offering a service that fits seamlessly into their busy lives.

Our philosophy is simple: each student is as unique as a pawprint, and our tutors are carefully selected to be the perfect match for every learner.

We employ a spiral-based approach, ensuring that concepts are revisited and reinforced, leading to deeper understanding and long-term retention.
At Pawprints Tuition, we offer a fully comprehensive service, including live interactive writing sessions, theory and exam question practice, detailed lesson recordings, and personalised homework assignments.
Our goal is to take students from learning to exam-ready, building long-lasting relationships along the way.

Here’s a bit about our Co-Founders, Dilan and Tia:

"Dilan prathive
In the Summer of 2024, the last Summer before year 11, I started to worry about my son’s GCSE’s as he had gaps in understanding Physics and Chemistry. Luckily I chose
Tuition on Bark and Dilan Prathive was introduced to us. I was amazed how much he covered in lessons even going beyond his time and ensuring my son Lorcan understood the topics of concern. Lorcan is a picky child at boarding school and he has told me Dilan covered all the topics that he needed help on and he’s learnt a lot in 10 lessons. He’s very happy and so am I. We will contact Dilan anytime Locan needs clarification. Thank you for being a Brilliant Tutor Dilan."

Dilan's passion for education stems from a deep belief that everyone deserves access to quality learning, regardless of their background or circumstances. Currently a 4th-year medical student at Medical University , Dilan is pursuing a Doctorate of Science in Medicine, with aspirations to specialise in Oncology.
His academic excellence is evident, with top grades in Triple Science and Mathematics at GCSE, followed by A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Dilan started Pawprints Tuition because he wanted to make quality education accessible to everyone. His journey began with a strong desire to give back to his community, inspired by the belief that education is a right that everyone deserves. Through his own experiences and academic journey,
Dilan realised the transformative power of personalised learning and saw an opportunity to create a tutoring service that could provide tailored support to all learners.

"Tailored and First Rate Tutoring Experience. Approached a few different online tutor providers to get some GCSE support for my daughter. From the beginning, my daughter's needs matched with Tia, who would provide the correct level of tutoring to meet her requirements and support her dyslexia.
Since their Introductory meeting Tia has been fantastic for my daughter, building up her confidence and self belief, and helping her focus her revision strategy.
She also kept me fully updated, with lesson reviews/feedback and additional learning tasks.
Overall my daughter and I could not be happier with the tutoring provided by Tia."

Tia’s passion for teaching ignited when she began tutoring her brother, who has special educational needs. Now, as a student of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery, Tia combines her love for animals with a strong academic foundation in Science and Mathematics.
With years of tutoring experience, Tia has helped numerous students achieve their academic goals.
Tia started Pawprints Tuition after working online with students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Seeing the positive impact she could have on her students' lives, particularly in helping them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals, inspired her to continue this work on a larger scale.
Tia wanted to create a service that not only provided tailored, high-quality education but also made online learning accessible and effective for all students, especially those with special educational needs.
