No, there are no long-term contracts required. You pay for each lesson as you have them. After each session, your tutor will send you a personalised lesson report and any assigned homework. You'll receive your invoice afterward, ensuring you're fully informed about the session before making a payment.
We tutor in a wide variety of subjects, including Maths, Sciences, Humanities, Music, Sports & Physical Education, Design/Art/Technology, and Languages. We cover all levels from KS1 to A-Level, and tailor lessons according to your specific exam board (OCR, Edexcel, AQA, Entry Level, Functional Skills). If your subject isn’t listed, just let us know – we’re happy to accommodate.
Payments can be made to our business bank account. We accept PayPal, credit cards, and debit cards for your convenience.
Our tutoring rates range from £20 to £35 per hour, depending on your specific needs and goals. When you make an enquiry, we'll work to find a tutor that fits your requirements, budget, and learning style.
Of course! We’ll send you profiles of tutors that we believe are the best match for you, and you can choose the one you feel most comfortable with.
Currently, our services are online only. However, if you and the tutor happen to live nearby, we’re happy to accommodate in-person sessions upon request.
No, we tutor students of all ages and abilities. For children aged 7 and under, we may request that a parent or guardian is present during the session if needed.
Absolutely! We pride ourselves on being an inclusive company that tailors our services to each individual's needs. Our tutors are experienced in working with both adults and young people with various disabilities and are happy to adapt based on recommendations from your healthcare professional assessments.
Lessons can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours. We typically recommend 1-hour sessions unless there are special requirements or if your assessment is approaching soon, in which case a 2-hour session might be beneficial.
Yes, before your "Get to Know You" meeting, we'll provide you with your tutor's profile, which includes a photo, their contact details and some background information. This helps you get acquainted with your tutor beforehand.
We offer a free 15-minute "Get to Know You" meeting on Microsoft Teams. This session allows you to meet your tutor, discuss your goals and challenges, and ask any questions you might have. It's a great opportunity to ensure the tutor is the right fit for you. We feel that this session works just as well as a demo session.
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you feel that the partnership isn’t working, we’re happy to assign you to a different tutor who better suits your needs.
Our tutors offer flexible scheduling and are available mornings, evenings, weekends, and even on bank holidays. For specific availability, please discuss directly with your assigned tutor.
Lessons are primarily conducted online via Microsoft Teams. If you prefer, we can also use Zoom or Google Meet to accommodate your preferences.
Not at all. Your comfort is important to us. You're welcome to keep your camera off if that makes you more comfortable during the session.
Yes, we can record lessons upon request and send them to you for revision purposes. Please note that tutors will only retain these recordings for 30 days before they are securely deleted.
We kindly request a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel, reschedule, or edit your lesson time. It’s best to provide this in writing, and rest assured, the cancellation is counted from the moment you send it. However, our tutors are very understanding and may not charge for cancellations made within 24 hours for extenuating circumstances.
As an online tutoring provider, physical safety is not a concern. However, if you ever have any concerns regarding the conduct or professionalism of your tutor, please contact us immediately. All of our tutors also posses an Enhanced DBS Check (With Barred Checks), meaning they have undergone government background checks to allow them to be working with children. We take student safety very seriously and will handle any issues with urgency.
